Scrapbook, newspaper articles, photos, and miscellaneous publications, chiefly relating to Peterson's activities in North Dakota politics, her service as North Dakota Democratic-NPL Party committeewoman to Democratic National Committee, and as representative to many local, state, and national groups concerned with rural women's issues, women's rights, agriculture, and other topics. Of particular interest are her newspaper columns written for Bismarck Tribune, Dickinson Press, and other North Dakota local newspapers.

Beatrice Olson Peterson was born on June 25, 1916 in Badger, Iowa. Her family moved to Belfield, N.D. in 1920. She graduated from Dickinson State College (1935), taught school for two years, and married Gilman F. Peterson (1937). They had 5 daughters and owned Flag Staff Farms near South Heart, N.D. She was a journalist for southwestern N.D. newspapers (1949-1985) and active in local, state, and national Democratic-NPL politics. She moved to Couer d'Alene, Idaho in 1986 and died on May 2, 2000. ...
